This week, Children’s Blankets of Love had the privilege of delivering 208 cozy, comforting blankets to Duke Children’s Hospital!
Founder Barbara Marchioni personally transported the donation, where she was greeted with gratitude by the hospital’s dedicated social workers and childcare facilitators. The blankets, each one a symbol of care and compassion, will provide warmth and comfort to children facing hospital stays and medical challenges.
The response from Duke Children’s Hospital staff was both heartwarming and inspiring. The social workers expressed their appreciation for the thoughtful donation, knowing how much of a difference these blankets can make for their young patients.
