The sun was shining, the greens were pristine, and the community came together in a beautiful display of generosity during the Children’s Blankets of Love 1st Annual Charity Golf Tournament, held on Friday, November 14th at the River Landing Golf Course. This inaugural event brought together 9 teams and 36 enthusiastic players, all teeing off for a meaningful cause—bringing comfort and warmth to hospitalized children through CBOL’s ongoing blanket donation mission.

Perfect Weather, Great Competition, and Even Greater Purpose

The forecast couldn’t have been better. Under clear skies and pleasant temperatures, golfers enjoyed a full day of friendly competition. While no one walked away with the impressive $10,000 hole-in-one prize, the event did crown a winning foursome—earning a well-deserved $500 team prize for their outstanding performance on the course.

The excitement continued at the putting green. As part of a fun tournament perk, players could purchase a Mulligan Package, which included bonus strokes and automatic entry into the putting contest. After several competitive rounds for the closest putt, one skilled golfer took home the $50 putting contest prize and bragging rights for the year.
