On Tuesday, March 31st, 2026, Children’s Blankets of Love (CBOL) continued its mission of comfort and care with a meaningful blanket delivery to Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina. Founders Barbara and Vic Marchioni made the trip to personally deliver 141 blankets to the hospital’s pediatric patients.
Each blanket represents more than just warmth—it symbolizes compassion, community support, and a reminder that these children are not alone during their hospital stay. For patients facing long-term treatment, a soft blanket can provide a sense of security and comfort during an otherwise difficult time.
The hospital staff at Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital warmly welcomed Barbara and Vic and expressed their gratitude for the donation. Nurses and caregivers shared how impactful these blankets are for their patients, especially those who spend extended periods in the hospital. Something as simple as a cozy blanket can help ease anxiety, bring a smile to a child’s face, and create a small sense of normalcy.
This delivery marks another milestone for Children’s Blankets of Love, as the organization continues to expand its reach and provide comfort to children across North Carolina. With each delivery, CBOL reinforces its commitment to supporting pediatric patients and uplifting hospital communities.
