Children’s Blankets of Love recently continued its mission of comfort and compassion with a special delivery to WakeMed Children’s Hospital in Raleigh, NC. Founder Barbara Marchioni and her husband, Vic, personally delivered 100 new blankets to the hospital’s pediatric department — each one meant to bring warmth, security, and a sense of hope to children undergoing medical treatment.

Since its founding, Children’s Blankets of Love has partnered with hospitals across North Carolina to ensure that every child facing illness feels supported by their community. WakeMed has been one of CBOL’s cherished hospital partners, and this latest donation marks another step forward in their mission to spread love — one blanket at a time.

Barbara shared that seeing the children’s faces light up when they receive their blankets is what keeps her motivated. “Each blanket represents the love and care of everyone who donates,” she said. “It’s a simple gesture that can mean so much during a difficult time.”

With the help of generous donors, volunteers, and community partners, Children’s Blankets of Love continues to make a lasting difference in the lives of hospitalized children and their families.
