Fundraisers

For many participants, a monetary donation to Children’s Blankets of Love is the easiest, most effective path of contribution. Doing so allows our non-profit  organization to purchase blankets in bulk and extend the impact of the work we do.

If you have a passion for our cause, Children’s Blankets of Love encourages you to consider implementing a fundraising activity.  They can take on many forms — from soliciting donations from family, friends, co-workers and neighbors to achieve your goal, to developing a special signature activity that others can be a part of.

For example . . .

You might ask others to donate to Children’s Blankets of Love in lieu of a birthday gift.  OR host a “binge blanket party” and encourage guests to bring a new blanket as their ticket for admission.  Perhaps you are a fervent runner, fitness bluff, musician or someone with another type of hobby . . . consider setting goals that are tied to your favorite activities, and raise funds every step along the way.

The Children’s Blankets of Love organization is committed to helping you create an effective fundraising activity.  We’re happy to share guidance, experience and recommendations and can provide materials such as donor boxes, brochures and signage to help you.

Children’s Blankets of Love provides secure online donation capabilities, complete with receipts for taxes, via PayPal and Venmo.  When people choose to make a contribution in memory or honor of a loved one, we are happy to publicly acknowledge that dedication.  It’s easy to encourage people to initiate their donation via our website and social media platforms.

If you work in a retail environment, consider giving your customers the opportunity to be part of our children’s blankets cause.  We can provide donation bins if appropriate, or work with you to encourage customers to donate their change with their purchases.

For many people, we find that participation in a Children’s Blankets of Love activity becomes a powerful, personal experience.  Our special cause touches hearts and motivates people to get involved.

Most importantly, campaigns provide love and support to young children at their greatest times of need.
